Latinos love Capias.  Capias are sort of like handmade corsages/pin-on souvenirs.  They are a party favor usually made out of tulle, with a porcelain/ceramic figure glued on the ribbon that has the event’s title/date printed on it. Although not widely used anymore, the more old-fashioned Latinos still use and value this tradition.  Capias are quite popular from baby showers (made with a ceramic baby/bottle) to bridal showers (ceramic penis anyone?).  Guests love to keep them as  keepsake.
